So What Now? The Trends That Will Define the 2020s

The purists point out that since there was never a year zero, the new decade should not strictly start until 1 January 2021. However, by public acclamation the turn of 2019 into 2020 has been designated an important milestone and who, especially in this populist age, are we to disagree?
I had my first professional encounter with the world of corporate rescue in 1980 and so by any count I have seen four decades go by in which the law, the techniques and the challenges have changed more than any of us could have imagined.
